A straight-arm awning is fitted above the opening, with side arms that extend the fabric outwards. It shields the facade from direct sun and provides effective shade for windows, balconies and smaller elevations.

Its angle can be adjusted to suit the orientation of the facade and the height of the sun. It is a simple, robust system, ideal for reducing solar gain without altering the building's architecture.

Operation

Two side arms to adjust the shade

The arms are fitted to either side of the awning and allow its angle to be adjusted. Lower the shade when the sun is low, or open the angle to retain light and ventilation.

For exposed installations, a cassette protects the fabric when the awning is retracted and gives the facade a more compact finish.

Desert is the cassette version of the straight-arm awning. When retracted, its cassette closes around the unit and protects the fabric from weather, dirt and wear.
